We are excited to invite applications for the role of Data Analyst at our St. Louis, MO office. As a Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing reporting and data analysis for business units within the St. Louis Business Group (ProSource, Kiba and Lighting One) organization. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining data quality in the business unit’s databases; this requires providing assistance to and troubleshooting with ProSource franchisees to understand and correct data problems. Our ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator and has previous experience working with product/merchandising, transactional and financial data.
As part of our dynamic team, you’ll enjoy a hybrid work schedule, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in the office from Tuesdays through Thursdays.

In this role, you will:
- Create and manage reports for franchisees/members and business units using business intelligence and other software platforms as well as develop reporting to support ad hoc programs.
- Utilize SQL skills to query, manipulate, and extract insights from diverse datasets, ensuring accurate and rational decision-making despite varying levels of data quality.
- Identify inconsistencies and limitations within data, develop strategies to address them, and ensure reliable analysis by applying critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Conduct data analysis and data modeling across all business units, assisting in discovering performance gaps, and assist franchisees/members with technical challenges when they are providing their store data.
- Manage design and implementation applications of existing and new processes and databases as well as consult with internal and external IT resources.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in business or computer science plus 3-5 years of data analysis experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Excel, Access and Outlook) and a basic understanding of database structures and data relationships.
- SQL, VBA, and Business Intelligence software skills are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience working with product/merchandising, transactional and financial data preferred.
