We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a solid understanding of the digital commerce realm as a Digital Product Catalog Specialist in our St. Louis Office for our ProSource Division.   As a Digital Product Catalog Specialist, within the Business Initiatives Department, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing product merchandising and visualization of the ProSource national and local digital product catalogs across all ProSource sites, channels and 3rd party applications. Through collaboration with our merchandising, product data services, and IT teams, you will deliver comprehensive, high quality national and local online catalogs that will drive increased sales through lead generation and digital commerce for our franchise owners.

Our Digital Product Catalog Specialist will:
  • Create and maintain the ProSource national and local digital product catalogs across all sites, channels and 3rd party applications. Perform daily product maintenance and search updates on the site (redirects, link updates, etc.). Manage online catalog product sorting and prioritization, product filtering/navigation, and search optimization.
  • Partner with internal teams (Merchandising, Product Data Services) and external suppliers to enhance how online digital products are presented, including (but not limited to) product descriptions, product attributes, imagery and supplier electronic documentation including spec sheets, installation instructions, and warranty information. 
  • Work with ProSource franchisees to ensure their online catalog represents their showroom products and to ensure their preferred products have priority positioning on their online catalog. 
  • Use digital tools to analyze product catalog and digital commerce site metrics to identify opportunities to improve product inquiry leads, online sales conversions, increased order size, and the online user experience through enhancements to the online catalog and digital commerce.
  • Assist Digital Project Manager with testing updates and new features as well as continuously monitor the competitive online product catalog and digital commerce landscape and set and evaluate monthly and annual goals for on-site product performance.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or business and 2+ years of experience supporting or managing digital product catalogs for online sales.  Experience with B2B or B2C product catalogs preferred.
  • Experience with PIM (Product Information Management) systems preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the digital commerce realm (Product-centric SEO, Analytics, Digital Catalog Tools, Digital Commerce platforms).
  • Previous experience managing large catalogs in a highly competitive industry.
  • Proven experience working with teams and departments and experience communicating and collaborating with stakeholders at every level of the organization.
  • Excellent project management fundamentals, problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to drive decisions and keep digital product catalog enhancements moving forward in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results by specified deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication (verbal/presentation/written), and interpersonal skills.
