We’re looking for a Merchandising Specialist in our St. Louis office for our Retail Groups team, supporting some of the most recognized retail brands in the flooring industry, including Carpet One, Flooring America, and International Design Guild.

In this role, you will:
- Own category-level analysis for hard surface programs, including product and program performance, category opportunities, and trend insights.
- Maintain and manage Retail 2.0 planograms, ensuring assortments remain accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand and merchandising strategy.
- Prepare business reviews, reporting, and data analysis that highlight sales trends, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally to track active projects, improve timelines, identify efficiencies, and support planning through streamlined reporting and automation.
- Support and maintain MembersNet internal portals, ensuring merchandising content is accurate, organized, and easy for members and internal teams to access.
- Assist with convention preparation, including coordination of materials and PowerBuys organization.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, conventions, and other merchandising-related meetings and initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in CPG Merchandising, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or relevant related work experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience; experience in retail, merchandising, category management, or floor covering is a plus (but not required).
- A strong business mindset with comfort working in data, financial metrics, pricing, rebates, and category performance analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with experience using project management, reporting, and communication tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency, accuracy, and care while communicating professionally across teams.
