Join our dynamic team as a Content Specialist in Manchester, NH for our CCA For Social Good Division, and enjoy a role that combines flexibility and opportunity. As a Content Specialist, you’ll be responsible for working with senior team staff to manage all content on multiple national web platforms. This includes researching, writing, editing and revising new and existing content related to business and programmatic practices of small businesses in the early childcare and education, nonprofit, and co-operative industries. You will create content that engages and informs our user audiences focused on easy and practical implementation. You’ll also regularly review existing content on our web platforms to ensure its relevance and accuracy to today’s business needs and may also identify emerging needs in the market that would benefit from the creation of new resources, tools, and information on the web platforms. Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be a highly skilled writer that can take a broad or complex concept and simplify it to a specific audience.
We offer a hybrid work schedule with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in the office from Tuesdays through Thursdays.

As a Content Specialist, you’ll be responsible for working with senior team staff to manage all content on multiple national web platforms. In this role, you will:
- Work with other senior team staff in reviewing, editing and managing existing content including web pages, forms, how-to-guides, templates and other practical resources across multiple web platforms. Identify, leverage and implement opportunities to re-use content across platforms.
- Research, develop, and write new content in a voice that is accessible for multiple audiences for use on multiple web platforms which addresses emerging needs and relevance to today’s businesses and administrative operations.
- Load, format, and update content through our website content management system (CMS) and collaborate with internal team using project management software to communicate and record completed work. Ensure that Metadata/search properties are implemented and correct.
- Assist the Director in the creation of resource documents, collateral, and other materials to support ongoing changes and efforts as they pertain to divisional business needs and marketing plans.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in communications, creative writing, journalism, plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills, exceptional writing skills inclusive of strong spelling and grammar skills, and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be skilled in discussing broad or complex concepts and simplifying them into clear, concise, strategic messaging for easy consumption by target audiences.
- Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with CMS platforms (like Umbraco), Google Analytics and HTML is a plus.
- Ability to communicate with management and team members in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner.
- Basic knowledge of social platforms and review management.
