We are seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented, dependable team player to join our Product Data Services team as a Product Data Coordinator in our St. Louis, MO office.   Jobseekers that have provided back-office support especially in a flooring, hardware, or plumbing retail environment are typically a great fit for this role!  In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining flooring and home product data from suppliers, CCA Buyers and Divisional Merchandisers.  You will input data through mass imports, requiring extensive file manipulation, and manual entry also maintaining the accuracy of the data for the life of the products.  If you have an eye for detail and a love for product data, understanding all elements of it, including its utilization by a variety of end users, we’d love to hear from you!

Our Product Data Coordinator will:
  • Maintain product specifications, warranties, product images and private labeling for new and existing flooring and home products, ensuring the accuracy of data entered in the database both manually and through electronic files.
  • Work with suppliers, CCA Buyers and Division Merchandisers to obtain specifications and private branding data for new products.
  • Review incoming electronic files from suppliers, making needed adjustments to meet system requirements and uploads.
  • Maintain files of supporting documentation and perform weekly and monthly data audits to assure accuracy and correct discrepancies.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?
  • At least 2-3 years’ related database administration experience.
  • Superior organizational, problem solving and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in Excel along with a conceptual understanding of relational database structures such as tables, fields, rows, etc.
  • Basic understanding of flooring and home products is preferred.
  • Desire to be “hands-on” with a large amount of data in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
